WATER IN THE 216
Cleveland gets its water supply from Lake Erie which makes it a surface water source. Then the city does water treatments to provide clean water. Cleveland water has four intakes that pulls water from Lake Erie and they send it to their four water treatment plants. Cleveland Water offers direct (retail) water service to 70 cities, townships, and villages, wholesale water service to 7 cities, and emergency backup water service to 3 communities. These communities are categorized into 4 zones, determined by their elevation in relation to Lake Erie. Cleveland adds about .7-.9 mg of fluoride to their water. My building would also receive water from Lake Erie through a water company of my choice.
